This tool creates a specific list of activities you can use in your course. These activities provide interactivity and multimedia based activities in your course.
The basic concept of the toolbox is the use of MOODLE (1) 3.X as the learning platform. In MOODLE you should install the H5P (2) framework to provide the requested interactive and multimedia based lerning content.
Here you can create a list of activities that can be used in distance learning to create eTivities[3]. All proposals are focusing on technology supported distance learning (using multiple devices). To assist teachers to select a well-fitting item the preferred disciplines are added.
Some considerations to the use of activities (and eTivities) from the point of view and the experience of the project consortium (and in line with the outputs developed during the project’s lifetime):
- The learning aims always have to be in the foreground. If this is clear you may select a well-fitting activity.
- Don’t use multimedia or interactive elements if there is no need or clear reason.

[3] The term eTivity (original writing E-tivity) was coined by G. Salmon of Open University (England). It means “task online”; it is a framework to learn something in a dynamic and interactive way. This activity is based on intense interaction and reflective dialogue between a number of participants, such as learners / students and teachers, who work in a computer-mediated environment. eTivity are text-based and led by an e-moderator (usually a teacher).
